From the medieval village of Monteacuto delle Alpi, we will descend into the Baricello Valley, surrounded by the autumn colors of the beech forest. We will reach the picturesque Squaglia Mill and the Sanctuary of Madonna del Faggio, following the Baricello stream. With a little luck, we may spot a fire salamander.
Crossing the woodland, we will arrive at the charming stone village of Tresana before returning to Monteacuto. At the end of the hike, there will be the option of a traditional mountain lunch at Rifugio Segavecchia, with a complimentary glass of wine.
